With the advent of healthcare reform, the business of medicine will undergo more drastic changes than anything in the last century. To contend with these massive changes, physicians must ensure that their practice is up-to-date with regulatory mandates as well as remain on the cutting edge of our specialty. The AOA is the most efficient and cost effective way to keep your administrator and medical staff informed and able to adapt to these changes.
This organization offers otolaryngologist administrators the resources needed to perform optimally in contracting, billing/collection, information management and human resources. Our practice has benefitted from the expertise the AOA provides since 1991. I highly recommend Otolaryngologist members of the AAO-HNS to have their administrators become members and active participants in this association. The strength of our specialty from an administrative practice management viewpoint is dependent upon exceptional educational resources and professional networking; both of which the AOA is expert at providing.

Central California ENT Medical Group
Fresno, CA
Our practice administrator has been a member of the AOA since 1992. She contributes her success as a practice administrator in part to this membership. Most recently, our group practice submitted an application for a Certificate of Need (CON) for a 100% physician owned ENT ASC – the first in North Carolina. Our practice administrator was able to reach out to three AOA members throughout the United States who have ASC experience. Their input was invaluable to the completion of the CON application and saved our practice thousands of dollars in consulting fees.
